Usage

Pasek Furniture is made from selected planks of various types of wood. Together, we can make them last for years or even generations. All you have to do is stick to a few simple rules. Here they are:

  1. Clean furniture with a dry or slightly dampened cotton cloth.
  2. Try not to let the furniture get flooded or wet. Clean up any stains or spills as soon as possible according to the instructions in point 1.
  3. The furniture is designed for indoor use. Do not expose them to outdoor conditions such as wind, rain, snow or frost.
  4. Use the furniture in rooms with a temperature above 10 ° C and a humidity of 40-70%.
  5. Exposure of furniture to direct sunlight can cause fading of the surface.
  6. Avoid fire sources around wooden furniture.
  7. Do not use the furniture improperly. This may lead to mechanical damage to the item and put you at risk of injury.

Delivery

We undertake to deliver (i.e. dispatch) the furniture within 4 weeks of payment for standard models from the shop.

In the case of special orders, this time is up to 8 weeks, unless we have informed you otherwise.

Maintenance

In order to maintain the satisfactory condition of the surface of the furniture, it is recommended to carry out periodic maintenance (depending on the intensity of use, between half a year and a year). Don't stress though, the activity is simple and enjoyable! Here are the step-by-step instructions:

  1. Clean the furniture with a damp cloth until clean.
  2. Abrade the surface with 180-200 grit sandpaper, either manually or with a low speed sander.
  3. Clean the surface of any remaining dust.
  4. Using a cotton cloth or kitchen sponge (soft side), apply and spread the clear oil or oil wax over the surface of the furniture.
  5. After a few minutes, collect excess product with paper towels.
  6. After an hour, polish the surface with a cotton cloth.
  7. It is recommended to apply a second layer of the product to reinforce the protective layer and prolong its lifetime. Please return to step four.

Possible remaining discolouration from spilled alcohol or heavily coloured liquids will fade over time and often disappear completely. Use the above instructions to uniform and protect the surface. In our opinion, however, subtle traces of use add character and testify to the history of a piece of furniture. Leave or remove - the choice is yours!
